This air purifer is really good. Once you turn it on in about 2 to 3 minutes, you experience the smooth clean air. And, with the ionizer, the air is cleaned good. I have a dog and a cat and also have allergies and this unit makes a big difference in the air in the house. Also, compare the price of this unit to other ionic air purifers, and the Surround Air XJ-2100 stands out from the other. This is an excellent product.
The only bad mark this product has is the two little plastic parts that is attached to the purifer part you take out to clean. Sometimes the two small plastic parts are not secure on the purifier part you pull out to clean. I had one a few years ago and now I have two in the home, and on one, the plastic parts are barely staying attached like my first one.

I purchased this product and it worked well and was very quite, for about 3 months before it completely died - just stopped working, no fan, no lights, nothing worked one day.

This item is compact, yet powerful enough and requires minimal cleaning. There are no filters to replace, so once you buy you only pay some pennies on electricity. It also produces small amounts of ozone, which is an excellent odor remover. Unfortunately, the ozone isn't optional, and too much of it isn't healthy.
It has a "high" and "low" state, and a fan which could be turned off.
What I like about it is that it can be placed anywhere in the house, since it's small. Compare that to the Ionic Breeze Quadra ionic towers, which need a lot of space.
As a bonus, you can connect it to the car - even leave it overnight (but you would have to open the windows in the morning to let the ozone out). In my opinion, it is too big for a car - but I have a small compact car, not a SUV. It can be used to remove odors from cars (or rooms), since the ozone does that.
What I wished were differently - as I've written - is the ozone output to be made optional.
Overall, this is a worthy investment, I heard about people ordering a buch of them - five or so (one for each room) - it is cheaper and healthier than an expensive big home unit.
